My Story

When I started in the bridal business, I didn’t start it out as a bridal shop, nor was the name of the business Heartfelt Bridal.  I began about 11 years ago, in the closet of my master bedroom, where I kept a variety of veils, tiaras, headpieces, garters and accessories for brides.  At the time, it was called Bridal Veils and Accessories by LeAnn.

After a couple of years, I had a new home built in Meridian and the chance to start a real bridal business, (gowns, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedo rentals, the whole nine yards!!!!)  I designed the upstairs of my new home to accommodate inventory and an elegant dressing area.  Because it was in my home, I operated through appointment only and discovered the value of a scheduled appointment.  I loved the time I was able to give each bride and how personal each appointment was, and that is why I still operate that way today.  I changed the name to Heartfelt Bridal because each and every bride became a part of my heart.  As I give of my time and expertise I am filled.

I worked out of my home for 6 ½ years but I was out growing my space.  After a lot of thinking, planning and second-guessing, I decided I was going to make the big leap and open up my own store front.  That takes me to where I am now.  I have been at my current location now for 2 ½ years.  The business has continued to grow and flourish.

I still love what I do and grow to love it more with each passing day.  I could never have imagined I would be where I am now, doing something that I love, and learning more each day.  I know that this time of a bride’s life is stressful, fearful and joyful and I am grateful I can be there to help them embrace one of the most important times in their lives.  I have had the opportunity to meet with so many wonderful and loving individuals and their families.  I plan on being around for a very long time and look forward to all the other terrific experiences to come.  Life has a whole different meaning when you can do what you love!!!!!
